Lonely, shy optometrist JOHN is in love with his shop assistant BARBARA.  Petrified of even speaking to her, let alone asking her out, John panics whenever in her presence.

Meanwhile, BARBARA is equally besotted with JOHN.  A fact obvious to anyone… except JOHN.  BARBARA takes JOHN’S continual panic as dislike, in turn making her nervous and clumsy.  The two of them have been stuck in this ridiculous situation for years.

Until, JOHN finds a pair of magic glasses that see 10 seconds into the future. They must be able to help win him BARBARA’S heart… surely?

With a little help from the magic glasses, JOHN and BARBARA find themselves on a date at the cinema… but the more JOHN uses the glasses to predict the future the more they mislead him, and things begin to go awry.  Can true love prevail?
